Business Analyst Private Markets

Job Description
 

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst in our Data, Processes and Systems (DPS) team to work together with stakeholders from the Private Markets and Information Technology teams. The DPS team consists of specialists in Business Analysis, Business Architecture and Project Management working in the Private Markets Operations department. The team's focus is the execution of strategic initiatives, introduction of new tools and platforms and design of new scalable solutions to serve our stakeholders’ needs.

The role includes the following tasks:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, expectations and challenges on a wide range of topics across international locations.

  • Elicit, analyze, validate and prioritize requirements and translate requirements into technical specifications and functional deliverables.

  • Support process owners and participants to document and optimize document business processes.

  • Prepare and execute test cases, facilitate user acceptance testing and arrange stakeholder sign-off.

  • Create training materials, train business users, push for adoption and support the entire change management process.

  • Assist with project management activities i.e. plan tasks and timelines, arrange workshops, oversee delivery, prepare status reports.

Requirements

  • You have at least 3 years experience as a business analyst in financial services sector, preferably in Private Markets;.

  • In the past you proofed your strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • As the role is at the interface between business and IT, a genuine understanding of both business and technical functions is required;

  • You will communicate with various stakeholders from different backgrounds, so excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are essential to be successful in the role; you are able to communicate complex ideas and concepts  with appropriate levels of detail; you will manage stakeholder expectations and you need to be able to handle some uncertainty;

  • Proven change management skills are required and you are able to adapt to changing business needs;

  • We look for at team mate with a high level of ownership, who is able to take initiative, work independently but also collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;

  • You are keen to understand and articulate the business value and impact of solutions delivered;

  • Vision to keep things focused on purpose and align the requirements and solutions with the strategic goals and objectives of the organization.

  • You’re fluent in English (written and spoken).
