Embedded Architect (m/f/d)

As an Embedded Architect (m/f/d) you’re defining the software architecture in conjunction with the embedded hardware for next generations of software and you shape the future of public transport in an international context.
Furthermore you have in the future the possibility to take on more and more responsibility in team leading or Product Manager roles within our organization.

Your Tasks:

• Analyzing of our customer requirements and generating a suitable architecture for new features as well as defining the technical roadmap
• Guiding an external and internal dedicated international development team and ensuring that the architecture is conceived, formalized, reviewed, implemented and tested
• Managing the development of our embedded hardware and software
• Optimizing existing systems, generating architecture concepts and supporting analysis of issues in system tests and in the field

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or computer science or equivalent
• Strong experience in development (> 8 years)
• Profound experience as a System Architect (> 3 years)
• Excellent knowledge in communication systems and their security aspects
• Experience in transportation systems
• Effective communication skills in English
• German skills would be considered as an advantage
