Location: Zurich, Switzerland

Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich is located in the heart of the Old Town, in the main business center, close to the city's leisure attractions and just a short walk from the shores of Lake Zurich. The Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich has 80 guest rooms and suites and three dining venues, including an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant and a lobby lounge. The hotel is ideal for meetings and events with its newly renovated event facilities, including a grand historic ballroom.

The Sales Managers goal will be to generate room revenue of the USA market. Co-ordinating customer requirements with other departments in order to achieve maximum guest satisfaction all while keeping profitability high for the hotel.

As Sales Manager you will be responsible for the following

duties:

Responsible for room-night and revenue production from allocated accounts

Implement agreed rate structure and strategy for the accounts.

Organise and accompany familiarisation trips and hotel site inspections for clients.

To conduct rate negotiations and co-ordinate contracting for key accounts and handle a portfolio of key accounts in defined territory.

Attend MOHG and trade functions as needed to promote sales and image for the hotel.

Compile quarterly action plans to review with DOSM. At end of quarter, review past quarter’s actions plan, revenue targets and agree next quarter’s revenue targets.

Maintain close relationship and communication with Regional Sales Offices to ensure sales objectives are achieved.

Attend daily sales briefing and other sales and departmental meetings as required.

As Sales Manager, we

expect from you:

At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in a Sales Manager position within the hospitality industry is required, ideally in a luxury environment

Expert in the US market

Outstanding sales and interpersonal skills

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Fluent in German and English. Additional language skills will be an advantage

Charismatic personality

The successful candidate must already be eligible to work in Switzerland
