Sweet Goods Product Development Intern (m/f/d)
As a Product Development Intern (m/f/d), you will join the Regional Innovation - Sweet Goods team within Taste & Wellbeing for a 12-month internship based in Kemptthal, Switzerland. In this role, you will primarily work on Baked Goods product development, while also supporting projects in Confectionery and Chocolate product development.
You will be part of a supportive, diverse, and responsible team which is already curious to meet you.
You will:
- Conduct product development in Baked Goods
- Support product development in chocolate and confectionery projects.
- Support and conduct practical trials and application of sweet goods
- Prepare flavoured food products for research projects, customer projects and/or internal presentations.
- Select flavours for projects according to specified requirements (i.e., customer, regulatory, legislation, technical costs)
- Participate in evaluations of flavours in food applications for briefs, research projects and portfolio evaluations
- Manage flavour data and recipe documentation for food products
- Maintain the flavour performance data for the flavour portfolio through evaluation in finished product and capturing of profiles
- Support tasting sessions and presentations to customers/visitors
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised lab environment following safety policies
You:
- Currently pursuing, or recently completed, a Bachelor's or Master's degree or vocational training in Pastry Arts, Bakery Technology, Food Science, Culinary ARTs or a related discipline.
- Have great Interest in Consumer-end Food products and Technology and the passion for Food and Tasting new products
- Proficient knowledge of English (spoken and written)
- Good sense of organisation
- Good Computer knowledge (Word, Excel)
- Team-focused work style
