Standards & Approvals Manager R&D (m/f/d) – Sensors, Measurement & Process Automation - Georg Fischer Rohrleitungssysteme AG, Schaffhausen

Your tasks:

• Responsible for standards and approvals for sensors, valve drives, and transmitters in process automation
• Develop a global approval and conformity concept
• Create submission documents and carry out the approval projects independently
• Actively support colleagues from development in applying the requirements of the standard correctly and in uncovering gaps and risks
• Drive necessary re-certifications
• Proactively build and maintain close partnerships with partners and government agencies around the world
• In an ongoing exchange with internal and external bodies and partners worldwide
• Keep your knowledge of applicable standards up to date with the help of specialist literature

Your profile:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree and at least 5 years of experience in a Standard & Approvals role ideally in the sensors, measurement, or process automation industry
• At least 5 years of practical experience in the development of electrical products for the process industry or similar
• Good experience with cULus and CE
• Ideally additional experience with NSF, KTW, UKCA, ATEX, CSA, EC1935, 3A, EHEDG, metrological approvals, marine approvals, or radio approvals
• Ideally further experience with IEC 62443 or IEC 61508
• Good knowledge of German and English
