Junior R&D Technician

.Participate in the development of new products and specifications necessary for the proper manufacture of surgical products based on the indications provided by the project manager(s).
.Manage the Design/Development phase of the integration process for new products.
.Build and establish the drawings and specifications necessary for the proper manufacture of prototypes, series and tooling.

Technical

Based on specifications, participate in the feasibility study with the support of technical specialists (Operations, Quality, etc.)
Build new developments in accordance with the constraints of the production tool (3D and drawings)
Provide assistance to Process Managers in solving specific problems related to product design and process control
Establish and perform validation and verification tests (cutting performance test, corrosion test, mechanical strength test) of new products and participate in the preparation of reports. Formalization of design and technical documentation.
Provide support to the investigation of customer complaints (analysis, proposals for improvement, etc.)
Collaborate on or lead internal innovation and continuous improvement projects in the field of R&D

Drawing

Make technical drawings for finishing, rough drafts and assembly plans, taking into account the usual standards
If necessary, design and draw tooling and other elements that may require CAD
Make changes, corrections and updates to drawings to support draftsmen
Archive and document changes in accordance with current ISO standards
Guarantee with the support of specialists (Industrialization, QC, etc.) that manufacturing plans meet industrial and quality requirements

Education & Qualifications:

ES Technician Diploma in Mechanics, Materials, etc.

Certificates/Diplomas:

CFC (mechanic or polymechanic), BTS (mechanics, materials, industrial product design, etc.), mechanical engineering degree or equivalent qualification.

Experience (type and duration):

Experience in the industrial environment of 1 to 3 years desired (junior profile accepted) in the design of mechanical products, design of tools and production of technical drawings based on specifications ideally in the medical field or medical subcontracting.

Key Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:

Good knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks or Creo or deemed equivalent - ESSENTIAL
Skills in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings
Knowledge of measurement methods and industrial statistics - a plus
French: C1 English: B2 minimum required

Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel): Advanced
Knowledge of ISO 13485 is a plus
