We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Health & Safety Expert to strengthen our commitment to a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment. In this key role, you will lead initiatives that protect our people, ensure compliance, and foster a proactive safety culture across our operations.
How you-ll make an impact
- Inspire and lead a culture of safety excellence through continuous improvement and employee engagement
- Coordinate and conduct hazard identification and risk evaluations with cross-functional teams
- Perform internal audits and safety inspections to uphold legal and company standards
- Investigate workplace incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive measures
- Represent the company in all interactions with external HSE authorities, partners, and stakeholders
- Develop and deliver impactful training programs on occupational safety, health, and environmental topics
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and project teams, offering practical guidance on HSE best practices
- Support initiatives related to environmental protection and sustainable workplace practices
Your background
- Completed vocational training (EFZ) with further education in engineering or a related technical discipline
- Several years of experience in occupational safety, ideally as a certified safety officer or with ASGS specialization within a technical or industrial setting
- Strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks related to occupational safety, health protection, and environmental standards
- Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is a plus
- Fluent in German (spoken and written), with excellent interpersonal and advisory abilities, capable of effectively supporting diverse teams
- Strong planning and coordination skills with a self-driven work style
