About the Role
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial / Data Analyst to join our growing team in Zurich. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate liquidity control, behavioural transaction analysis, dashboarding, and knowledge systemisation across the organisation. You will collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, Product, Infrastructure, and Compliance teams to strengthen data-driven decision-making and operational transparency.
The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent analytical skills, and a solid understanding of financial processes, with the ability to convert complex information into structured systems, dashboards, and insights.
Key Responsibilities
1. Liquidity & Transaction Analytics
- Reconcile liquidity across multiple partners, exchanges, custodians, and on-chain sources.
- Monitor daily flows and identify risks in liquidity distribution and operational processes.
- Maintain and continuously improve internal liquidity dashboards and monitoring systems.
2. Behavioural Transaction Analysis
- Analyse customer and platform transactional behaviour to detect trends and anomalies.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and predict emerging patterns.
- Provide proactive analytical insights to Product, Operations, and Finance teams.
3. Knowledge Systemisation
- Convert operational knowledge into structured internal regulations, SOPs, and playbooks.
- Document recurring processes, reconciliation flows, data dependencies, and reporting logic.
- Ensure consistent and high-quality knowledge transfer across all relevant teams.
4. Dashboarding & Reporting
- Build dashboards that track liquidity, behavioural patterns, risk indicators, and operational KPIs.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly analytical reports for management, partners, and compliance teams.
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and timely delivery of all reports.
Requirements
Academic Background
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, etc.). A major/minor in Finance or equivalent academic coursework from a top university is preferred.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, SQL, R (or similar). Strong knowledge of BI tools: Superset, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent. Ability to work with large datasets, automate recurring analytical processes, and build clear visualisations.
Professional Experience
Prior internship or work experience in financial services (banking, fintech, trading, asset management, consulting) is an advantage. Understanding of blockchain fundamentals (wallets, assets, on-chain analytics, stablecoins) is a strong plus. Experience in data documentation, financial reconciliations, or analytical reporting is preferred.
