In this role, you will work directly on Swiss Air Force jets, primarily handling the following tasks:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on current and future military jets
- Carry out scheduled maintenance, inspections, functional checks, including replacement and testing of avionics and electrical systems (instruments, electronics, radio, and avionics) in accordance with technical documentation
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and avionics systems
- Execute technical modifications and change orders
- Participate in aircraft preparation and return-to-service activities
- Ensure proper traceability of completed work and maintain maintenance documentation
- Actively contribute and participate in internal avionics training courses related to safety, quality and within maintenance operations / flightline support
What you should bring with you
- Completet vocational training (EFZ/CPC) in a technical or electrical field (e.g. automation technician, electronics technician, diagnostics specialist or similar)
- Strong interest in or previous aviatic experiences of complex technical systems
- Advanced (technical) Englishskills (Level B1/B2) is a prerequisite
- Good command of either French or German; knowledge of a second national language is considered as plus
- Category B driving licence
- A resilient personality with team-player qualities and a strong sense of responsibility and flexibility for possible shift-work, combined with a precise, quality-oriented approach to work
- Swiss citizenship (absolute requiremenent for working on a military base)
