Über den Job
DiNABIOS is an innovative life science company and an independent business of the DiNAQOR group, founded as an academic spin-off by a team of physicians and bioengineers. We are headquartered in the Greater Zurich Area, Switzerland, with an additional presence in Hamburg, Germany.
We specialize in advanced screening and phenotyping services and life science tools, guiding researchers and pharmaceutical companies “from lab to life.” Our core expertise lies in leveraging proprietary Engineered Heart Tissue (EHT) technology, offering highly robust, reproducible, and human-based platforms for drug discovery, safety, and efficacy testing.
The Opportunity
This position is initially offered as a full-time position (40 hours per week; 100% FTE). The successful candidate can work full-time remotely but also has the option to utilize a modern office space in either Hamburg, Berlin, Germany or Schlieren, Switzerland. Regular in-person meetings at one of the german locations will be required for essential collaboration and alignment.
About the Role (Key Responsibilities)
As our Sales & Marketing Manager, you will hold a pivotal hybrid role. You will be responsible for the direct sales of our high-tech portfolio while simultaneously building the DiNABIOS brand through strategic marketing, content creation and digital presence.
You will focus on promoting and selling our Engineered Human Tissue Services (Heart & beyond) as well as our proprietary technology ecosystem: DiNAQUBE, DiNALYTIQS and DiNACLOUD.
Sales & Commercial Execution
- Actively sell our core portfolio to pharmaceutical companies, CROs, and academic institutions: Services: Contract research based on Engineered Human Tissue models.
- Drive the adoption of DiNAQUBETM, DiNALYTIQSTM and DiNACLOUDTM.
- Plan, prepare, and represent DiNABIOS at national and international trade fairs, congresses, and industry events. Manage the full cycle from booth organization to lead follow-up.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, managing the sales pipeline and identifying opportunities for upselling.
- Track Sales KPIs, marketing performance, and pipeline status, reporting regularly to the CEO/COO.
Marketing & Communications
- Develop and implement the sales and marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and lead generation.
- Maintain and further develop the company website (content, structure, usability) and coordinate with external partners.
- Manage LinkedIn and other relevant channels (content creation, regular posting, community management and campaigns).
- Create and refine marketing materials (brochures, pitch decks, product sheets) and develop compelling product storytelling for our complex technologies.
- Conduct competitor analysis and identify new market trends to align our messaging.
Candidate Profile
- Completed degree in Medicine, Life Sciences (Biology, Biotech), Business, or Marketing. Medical Doctors (MDs) looking to transition into a commercial role are explicitly welcome.
- Professional experience in Sales and Marketing, ideally within a technology-driven environment (Biotech, MedTech or Life Science sectors).
- You are able to understand complex physiological models (Heart/Tissue Engineering) and explain their value to researchers and pharmaceutical clients.
- Experience dealing with complex, advisory-intensive products; understanding the needs of researchers and pharma clients is a major plus.
- Fluent in English and German (written and spoken) with strong presentation skills.
- Proficient with CRM systems, Website CMS (e.g., WordPress), Social Media platforms (LinkedIn) and standard marketing tools.
- You have a strategic mindset combined with a hands-on mentality. You can develop a concept and then execute it yourself (e.g., writing the post, organizing the booth).
- Highly organized, self-motivated and a team player who enjoys working closely with technical teams and management.
