For our CMF (Craniomaxillofacial) business in Basel, we are looking for an experienced Senior Global Product Manager. In this role, you will take ownership of a global product segment throughout its entire lifecycle – from developing the product strategy and new products to international launches and the continuous development of the existing portfolio.
You will work closely with Product Development, Engineering, QM/RA, Production, Logistics, Marketing, and Sales while staying closely connected to our customers and markets. Through regular interaction with surgeons, monitoring technological developments, and analyzing the competitive landscape, you will ensure that market and customer needs are consistently reflected in our product development.

Senior Global Product Manager CMF 100%
Your responsibilities
- Take ownership of a global product segment within CMF and develop its product strategy and portfolio throughout the entire product lifecycle.
- Lead product development projects with responsibility for timelines, cost, and quality, including planning and management of project budgets.
- Develop new products and enhance existing solutions in close collaboration with Product Development, Engineering, Production, Logistics, Marketing, and Sales, supporting them from initial product idea through implementation.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage international product launches and provide the required product knowledge through training and other launch activities.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, scientific developments, and emerging technologies and translate relevant insights into product strategy and development.
- Build and maintain an international network of surgeons and medical key opinion leaders through regular interaction, operating room visits, congresses, and other customer engagements.
- Systematically gather market and customer feedback following product launches and initiate product improvements, corrective actions, and changes where required.
- Contribute to the preparation of required product and regulatory documentation in collaboration with QM/RA and Engineering and ensure effective information flow between internal and external partners.
Your qualifications
- University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Natural Sciences, or a comparable field.
- You have at least 7 years' experience in product management in the medical device industry, ideally in an international environment.
- Good understanding of the medical device market and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Strategic and analytical mindset combined with the ability to independently and systematically drive product development and launch projects.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to effectively coordinate diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborative and communicative personality with the ability to build long-term relationships with international customers, medical experts, and internal partners.
- Comfortable working in an international and intercultural environment, with the willingness to regularly visit customers, operating rooms, congresses, and relevant markets.
- Very good written and spoken German and English; additional languages are an advantage. Good Microsoft Office skills and experience with PLM systems complete your profile.
