Ihre Aufgaben

The University of Fribourg is seeking a Grant Writer for Innovation Funding (70–90%) to support researchers in securing competitive third‑party funding for innovation‑oriented projects. Embedded within the Knowledge and Technology Transfer (KTT) Unit, the position focuses on national and international innovation schemes such as Innosuisse, BRIDGE, EU innovation programmes, and industry‑linked instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and promote relevant innovation funding opportunities

  Provide hands‑on support for drafting, reviewing, and improving grant proposal

  
  


• 
  

  Translate complex scientific content into clear and convincing English

  
  


• 
  

  Support impact, implementation, and innovation strategies

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with grant management, follow‑up, and reporting

  
  


• 
  

  Organize training sessions and workshops on innovation funding

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate closely with KTT colleagues, research support services, and external partners

  
  

Gewünschtes Profil

• 
  

  PhD degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline

  
  


• 
  

  Proven successful experience with Innosuisse and/or BRIDGE application

  
  


• 
  

  Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with technology transfer is an asset

  
  


• Excellent writing and editing skills in English; good command of French or German
