At Sécheron Hasler India, we aim to strengthen our local market presence and position with the goal of growing our businesses locally, providing local customers with the best possible customer service and technical support. We have also started a production localisation to serve the Indian market and to export in a second step.

Due to the planned retirement of our current site manager in India, we are looking for a dynamic and motivated candidate to reinforce our team in Bangalore, where the incumbent of this role will develop activities as part of the Sécheron Hasler India team. In this role, you will be actively involved in the TPS (Traction Power Systems) business unit and will support the business development and operations in India including customer relationships, manufacturing, maintenance, services, engineering and project management. You will also organize all administrative processes and infrastructures of the sites efficiently.

Representing Sécheron Hasler Group in India both to local customers and within the group, you will perform the following tasks:

• • Lead setup of new Bangalore site, managing facilities, infrastructure, and equipment.
  • Develop sales strategies, focusing on TPS business, to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence in India.
  • Cultivate strong customer relationships, ensuring exceptional satisfaction and understanding customer needs.
  • Oversee site operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, safety, and adherence to budget and timeline constraints.
  • Recruit, train, and manage professionals across functions, ensuring timely project completion and positive team spirit.
  • Promote a safe working environment, adhere to safety regulations, and implement quality control measures for international standards.
  • Supervise local accounting and reporting activities, control expenses, manage banking processes, coordinate audits, and handle tasks with local authorities.

For this position, you should bring the following:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
• Proven 10 years’ experience in a leadership role in an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of production and operational processes.
• Proven experience in sales, customer relation and contract negotiation
• Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities. Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with local labour laws and regulations, sensitiveness to legal issues
• Multi-cultural interests
