About the team

Tools, Services and Infrastructure (TSI) develops and supports the tools, applications and infrastructure for the global SI B PRO R&D organization, owning the full lifecycle of the PLM/ALM toolchain used by5,000+ end users, with 3,000+ tickets resolved per year and 100+ tools managed. Within TSI, Applications & Data Insightsdevelops applications, integrations and data products, extending the ALM ecosystem with automation and AI. Our landscape includes:

• IBM Jazz ALM for agile project management, requirements, test and system design — plus Report Builder and a large in-house extension portfolio (50+ Jazz plugins and custom tools)
• Source code, build and quality tooling: Git, Artifactory, SonarQube, UrbanCode Deploy, build and test environments
• R&D financial and business processes(Jedox-based budgeting and cost tracking)
• Reporting and analytics: IBM Report Builder today, moving progressively to Power BI and Snowflake for Management Events , alongside KPI dashboards and data products

We use SAFe agile approach with local developers, remote team members and external suppliers in close cooperation. Beyond support, maintenance and continuous delivery, we train our users and maintain the documentation and knowledge base that keeps our services self-serviceable.

Your role

You will join our development team to further develop the tools above into user-centric, future-proof solutions, and you will contribute directly to extend and create plugins and tools, and infusing AI capabilities into the tool landscape(Jazz / WISPR / MCP integrations, Jazz Copilot).

Your new responsibilities

• You support the development of new features across the TI tool landscape, collaborating closely with experienced software engineers and participating in projects, change management and training for new technology implementations
• Building on this, you contribute to the entire engineering cycle by assisting in requirements analysis, architecture and design, coding, deployment and ongoing support
• In this context, you produce clean, efficient code to specification, integrate software components and REST-based interfaces, and help verify and deploy programs and systems
• Additionally, you maintain and upgrade existing software, troubleshoot coding issues efficiently, and help fix defects to ensure application and plugin reliability
• Complementing these tasks, you help create technical documentation for various audiences and contribute to the team wiki and knowledge base

Your talents and experience

• You are currently enrolled in a Swiss university degree program in computer science, software engineering or a related field and have initial practical experience in software development
• You have hands-on experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C# or .NET Core
• You are familiar with web technologies and frameworks, including basic frontend development with JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• You have knowledge of REST APIs and integration patterns, and are confident in using version control systems such as Git
• You demonstrate a high level of analytical ability, learn new technologies quickly and work in a structured, thorough and independent manner
• You have very good English and or German skills
