Key Account Manager, Integrated Systems

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Account Manager to join our dynamic X-EL team. This role is pivotal in managing and nurturing relationships with our esteemed clients, including shipowners and shipyards, and in driving the sales of our advanced integrated systems and lifecycle services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience in account management within the maritime or similar industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and strengthen relationships with shipowners and shipyards, serving as the primary contact for systems sales and service inquiries.
  • Gather, analyze, and document customer requirements in terms of operational and business needs.
  • Develop customized solutions for electrification and energy management, encompassing advisory and after-service activities.
  • Create and present technical proposals to customers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with technical and commercial teams, and vendors, to ensure comprehensive client support from system design to implementation and service.
  • Monitor account performance to guarantee profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in the WinGD Customer Relationship Management Database for assigned accounts.
  • Actively contribute to the development of work processes, pricing strategies, and the enhancement of our solutions portfolio.
  • Be available for travel within Europe and Asia, approximately 30% of the time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in account management and/or sales of electrification solutions, preferably in the maritime, railway, mining, or energy sectors.
  • Expertise in LV power generation, conversion, and distribution.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrification technologies, such as drives and switchgear, generators, and energy management systems, ideally in the maritime industry.
  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
