For one of our clients – a leading Swiss high-technology company in the Defense sector – we are looking for a motivated and skilled Technical Product Manager. The company is known for its engineering excellence, innovative spirit, and reliable solutions in safety-critical environments. You will be part of a dynamic, multicultural team and contribute to groundbreaking technology projects in the defense domain.

Technical Product Manager [Defence]

Your tasks

Own and manage the full product lifecycle for military field devices

Define and maintain the product roadmap in line with business and customer needs

Gather, analyze, and prioritize customer requirements to develop effective solutions

Initiate and lead new product developments and enhancements

Prepare and present compelling business cases to senior management

Collaborate closely with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Service teams

Take an active role in development projects as Product Owner

Conduct product training for internal teams and external stakeholders

Represent the company at trade fairs, conferences, and customer meetings

Ensure high-quality, up-to-date product documentation

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies

Your profile

BSc or MSc degree in Physics, Mechatronics, Electronics, or a related field – ideally with an optical and/or software background

Minimum 3 years of experience in product management or business development

Solid understanding of high-tech or defence-related markets, technologies, and applications (military background is a plus)

Project management experience with a structured and goal-oriented approach

Fluent in English; German is an advantage

Strong communication skills with excellent intercultural and interpersonal abilities

Analytical mindset with a solid understanding of complex technical systems

Willingness to travel up to 40%
