Omya Trainee Program in Adhesives and Sealants

​This person will participate in the trainee Program (15 months) and will be working on several Adhesives and Sealants project within the Construction team on the following topics: 

• ​​Develop market landscape understanding


• Help to identify trends, customers needs and innovation roadmap of key customers 


• Be able to run laboratory tests and report the results 


• Support the Adhesives and Sealants laboratory activities in all regions
  
  

The position is aiming to bring added knowledge within the organization thanks to today’s knowledge from university and also through skills from a younger g​​​eneration. ​

• Understanding and utilizing project management methodologies in the design, testing and implementation of the station projects


• Lead the ​​projects for each station in an autonomous way


• Contact and collaborate where necessary with internal teams for project work and manage them accordingly, following a cross-functional m​​​indset

• ​Bachelor- or Master-Degree in Chemistry or other relevant technical field


• First relevant working experienced preferred


• Technical interest with affinity to work in the laboratory and field


• Interpersonal and organizational skills


• Good communication skills


• English spoken & written, any other language is a plus


• Willing to have a work assignments abroad (up to 3 months​)
