• Create, maintain, and continuously improve sales forecasts at product, customer, and regional levels.
• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and business developments to enhance planning accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management to align demand planning activities.
• Identify, assess, and monitor forecast risks and opportunities while driving improvements in forecast accuracy.
• Develop medium- and short-term supply and production plans, considering capacity, lead times, and inventory targets.
• Ensure material availability and optimize safety stock levels and inventory coverage.
• Identify supply constraints, implement corrective actions, and coordinate with Production, Procurement, and Logistics to maintain delivery performance.
• Support and coordinate the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, including the consolidation of demand and supply data.
• Prepare scenario analyses, provide recommendations for management decision-making, and monitor key supply chain performance indicators.
• Prepare planning, inventory, and service level reports, analyze KPI deviations, and support the digitalization, optimization, and maintenance of planning processes, master data, and planning systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a comparable qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or Supply Chain Management.
• Experience in a chemical manufacturing or trading environment is considered an advantage.
• Solid understanding of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and/or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting, inventory management, and production, procurement, and logistics processes.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP) and planning tools such as SAP IBP, SAP APO, Kinaxis, OMP, or comparable solutions.
• Advanced Excel skills, strong data analysis capabilities, and basic chemical knowledge.
• Fluent in English and German, with excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
