We are seeking an experienced Talent Development Specialist to join our Talent team for a six-month maternity cover. The role will support the design, coordination and delivery of learning and talent development initiatives, with a particular focus on project management, content curation, digital learning, data analysis and programme operations.
Working closely with the Talent Development team, P&C Partners and external providers, the successful candidate will bring a structured, practical approach and be able to take ownership of existing initiatives quickly.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate learning and talent development projects from planning and design through to delivery and evaluation.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones and stakeholder communications.
- Contribute to the design of learning programmes, development journeys and supporting resources.
- Research, curate and regularly update learning content for employees, teams and people managers.
- Design, develop and maintain digital learning resources across the organisation’s learning platforms, including e-learning modules, videos and interactive content, to improve the employee learning experience.
- Coordinate with external providers to support the effective delivery of learning programmes and resources.
- Coordinate operational processes for external providers, including contracts, procurement requests, purchase orders and invoices, ensuring timely approvals, accurate records and appropriate follow-up.
- Gather and analyse participation data, feedback and other indicators to evaluate programme effectiveness, report on progress and outcomes, and recommend practical improvements.
- Support the delivery of workshops, onboarding events and other learning activities where required.
Experience and skills
- Experience in learning, talent development, organisational development or instructional design.
- Strong project management and programme coordination skills.
- Experience designing and curating learning content and connecting programmes to broader capability-building priorities.
- Confidence using data and feedback to evaluate and improve programmes.
- Experience coordinating external providers and related contracts, purchase orders and invoices.
- Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder-management skills, with a practical and collaborative approach.
- Familiarity with digital learning tools and platforms; experience with Workday, e-learning development, career or leadership development, and behavioural assessment tools would be an advantage.
