Head of Project Management Office - PMO (80 - 100%)

The CP COO Strategy & Transformation Office drives the “change the bank” agenda through the evolution and transformation of the Lombard Odier operating model (across process, people and technology) in accordance to business (client and front-office) needs and the overall bank strategy.

We are looking for our Head of Project Management Office, with strong project management skills :

You Mission :

  • Organising and supervising the activities of the CP COO Office locally and internationally, as well as the portfolio of projects carried out in the department, by means of appropriate activity reports.
  • Ensuring that internal customer requests are managed and prioritised in accordance with the governance and processes in place
  • Be a driving force in the management and monitoring of the project portfolio and support it using innovative and agile methodologies
  • Act as an ambassador for the CP COO Office to our stakeholders and contacts
  • Ensuring the quality of managerial reports and providing feedback from time to time

Principle Responsibilities :

  • Organising and managing the CP (Private Clients) budget exercise in collaboration with the main Front Office, IT and Operations stakeholders.
  • Suggesting improvements to project portfolio monitoring, i.e. defining and implementing measures of success, ROI, etc.
  • Supervising the monitoring of the CP project portfolio at CP Global level in terms of budget and deliverables, in collaboration with the project managers
  • Ensuring the production of monthly and quarterly monitoring reports on the programme/project portfolio covering the 4 dimensions: resources, planning, risk and budget for the various committees (CP ExCo, Opcom, etc.).
  • Support the monitoring of the CP COO Office capacity plan
  • Organising and leading sessions to prioritise IT development requests with the business and IT teams and provide logistical and technical support for this process.
  • Coordinate the running of the CP COO Office's portfolio of activities with the team managers
  • Ensure the publication of activity reports to the CP COO

Additional Responsibilities :

  • Manage the delivery of multiple projects while keeping all stakeholders and sponsors informed
  • Determine time frames, funding needs, technology requirements and procedures for successful delivery of projects
  • Establish and maintain project level governance including executive level reporting to fulfil stakeholder requirements on progress against key criteria such as cost, schedule, resource utilization, change control, risks, issues and benefits
  • Appropriately orchestrate the necessary involvement of various project methodology disciplines to contribute to project success
  • Ensures the review of possible risks, issues and dependencies that could impact delivery and either resolves or escalates as appropriate
  • Ensure the appropriate support structures are in place to support required meeting outputs and artefacts
  • Influence stakeholders across multiple departments to drive the execution of complex projects

Your Profile :

  • University degree in Finance, Business Management, Engineering  or related fields, or evidence of comparable academic / work achievement.
  • Four or five years’ experience in financial services / Consulting in a PMO or Project Management Role.
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic business and project environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to foster productive relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders across the organization
  • Proficient user of project management related tools such as Service Now, Jira, Confluence, MS Project, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills, the ability to summarize complex topics and convey key messages using proficiently MS Office tools such as PowerPoint, Excel
  • Fluent in English and French; excellent communication (written and verbal), networking, influencing and presentation skills
