About the role

Join our FP&A Real Estate Team as FP&A Controller/Analyst.

In this exciting and vital role, you will take charge of FP&A activities and play a key role by providing analysis in decision-making in operational, financial, and strategic matters and shaping our reporting, forecasting and analytics processes.

As a vital member of our team, you will bring enthusiasm and expertise to contribute to the overall success of our finance team and Real Estate division. You are the allrounder in our FP&A department with strong analytical mindset and excellent people skill to connect the dots. You will provide conceptual work, take over the responsibility for various ad-hoc projects and report to the Head of FP&A Real Estate.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Support our financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends and create variance analysis reports
• Partner with Accounting to support the monthly close process including variance and accrual analysis
• Support the preparation of the monthly reports for business reviews as well as ad-hoc analysis
• Contribute to the FP&A process stabilization, documentation and improvement
• Lead operational and financial performance monitoring using tools such as Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau etc.
• Create, develop, and adapt financial reports and models including KPI dashboards
• Present detailed financial reports including financial forecasts and simulation to managers
• Collaborate and be the sparring partner of the CFO organization and the various Real Estate functions

Qualifications

If you are curious to learn new things and have an optimistic basic charisma with a «can-do mentality» an important element is already fulfilled. In addition, you should bring the following qualifications:

• Team Player with demonstrated ability to work cross functionally
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively at varying levels and articulate financial results and performance to derive actionable recommendations
• Advanced in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling
• Strong interest and experience with data visualization tools, and programming languages
• Solid accounting knowledge under IFRS and Swiss GAAP FER;
• Commitment to process improvement
• High Integrity and Learning Agility. You enjoy solving complex strategic business challenges by incorporating new perspectives and strong intellectual and data-driven rigor
• Project management experience
• Hands-on, supportive and ready to step up in an agile environment
• Successfully completed studies in finance, economics (bachelor or master degree)
• 5 years of experience in FP&A, Finance business partner role
• Fluent in English and German
