Digital Activation & Campaign Lead

Why are we recruiting?
We're recruiting for a Digital Activation & Campaign role at UpLink, reporting to the Lead for Digital Engagement, Marketing & Communication. This position will be instrumental in utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud to plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel digital marketing campaigns and activation strategies. We need a highly analytical, creative, and tech-savvy professional who is passionate about making a meaningful impact through digital engagement. This role will collaborate closely with the Digital Activation, Marketing Communications Lead, other marketing functions and workstreams to ensure efficient and effective campaign execution, contributing to our overall marketing success.

Main responsibilities
Project Management:

  • Utilize project management skills to deliver campaigns effectively and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external technology partners to ensure smooth campaign execution.

Performance Marketing:

  • Demonstrate skills and experience related to performance marketing, running
  • campaigns and optimization for organic and paid initiatives across digital channels and platform.
  • Develop plans to optimize performance and achieve key performance indicators

Campaign Management (Social Media Marketing, Salesforce Marketing Cloud)

  • Create and manage end-to-end marketing campaigns within Salesforce marketing
  • Cloud (supported by technology partner and in consultation with the Forum’s Email Marketing Team).
  • Segment and target audiences effectively, ensuring personalized and relevant
  • content delivery via digital activation.
  • Build responsive email templates, landing pages, and marketing journeys to drive
  • traffic, engagement, and conversions.
  • Monitor campaign performance, conduct A/B testing, and adjust tactics to improve key performance indicators.

Digital Activation:

  • Develop and execute digital activation plan to acquire traffic, drive engagement and
  • participation in UpLink Digital Marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional workstreams to create and implement engaging digital experiences.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize activation strategies and improve user
  • onboarding and engagement processes.

Content Marketing:

  • Collaborate with content and media development functions to ensure that assets and content are aligned with campaign goals.
  • Collaborate with content functions to develop relevant content for emails, landing pages and social media engagement.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyse campaign metrics and user engagement data to assess
  • performance (Salesforce Analytics, GA4, Hootsuite for social media marketing)
  • Generate reports and insights to make data-driven decisions and continually
  • optimize campaigns and activation strategies and organize perioding marketing
  • performance meetings (Tableau, Looker Studio, GA4, Hootsuite. Paid/Organic)

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with various functions within the Digital & Marketing team as well as other UpLink workstreams including Design and Product teams and relevant GCG
  • departments, to align digital marketing efforts with UpLink’s broader goals.
  • Share insights and best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement.


Preferred requirements and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Proven experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud campaign management (or similar tool. SFMC and GA4 certification is a plus)
  • Experience with digital activation strategies and user engagement (Paid and Organic)
  • Proficiency in email marketing, marketing automation and data analytics
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
  • and matrix environment.
  • Strong analytics and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with GA4, Social Media Marketing, SEO, Tableau
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Performance marketing skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • The Digital Activation & Campaign Specialist/Lead will play a vital role in ensuring the successful design and delivery of digital marketing campaigns and contribute to the overall success of UpLink.
