For our new office in Dubai, we are looking for

CAD Manager - 100% (m/f)

The Ideal Candidate will be a seasoned professional with a proven track record in CAD/BIM management, possessing strong leadership skills and extensive experience in structural modelling and alignment projects.

The CAD Manager will act as the main point of contact for the CAD Technicians and Discipline Leads involved in the design process (software and technical questions). He/she will set up and manage the review process of CAD drawings through which quality issues will be centralized and reported. He will work together with Discipline Leads and the BIM Manager to deliver the project in a timely manner and of the required quality.

Responsibilities:

• Develop the CAD Management Plan
• Review the BIM Execution Plan together with the BIM Manager
• Ensure that the CAD Management Plan is followed by the CAD Technicians
• Develop a CAD training plan and coordinate internal and external trainings
• Follow and implement Pini Quality Standards and project requirements
• Responsible for Quality Checks of the CAD drawings / models (standard compliance, information consistency, interference etc.)
• Ensure that the Discipline Leads are aware of aspects that might impact the level of quality and delivery of CAD drawings / models
• Responsible for structuring the projects from start to end
• Create, maintain, and update the CAD Library
• Review and propose new procedures and rules that optimize the day-to-day CAD processes
• Continuous development of technical knowledge and software skills.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent (preferably Infrastructure Design)
• Proficiency in specific CAD Software for design and coordination (e.g. AutoCad, Revit, Navisworks, BIMCollab ZOOM, Civil 3D)
• Preferably 5 of year experience in CAD Management
• Good knowledge of CAD specific terms, standards and overall process
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Able to coordinate and lead a team
• Result-oriented attitude
