Group Financial, Planning & Reporting Director

Job Purpose

The incumbent is primarily responsible to deliver financial performance reporting, planning and analysis in support of the business worldwide, focusing on the reporting for the top management of the company. The incumbent is expected to provide financial and analytical support to the leadership team, and support the management of the company in making informed business decisions.

Role

To work with the finance teams and reporting to the Head of Global Finance to deliver a world class commercial finance reporting, planning and analysis which supports the management of the company in making better informed commercial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing analysis of and commentary on business performance including reporting to the Group Management and Board


• Leading the Group budgeting and monthly forecast process


• Working with the business and finance community to drive business performance


• Developing reporting processes, systems and metrics with the intention to automate reporting’s and taking it from mainly Excel-based into PowerBI

Required Experience 

• Financial planning, reporting and analysis in a multinational environment


• Leading a team of finance professionals


• Driving business performance in a low-cost environment


• Working with the senior management


• Working in a shared service and distributed resource model

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A team player with a hands-on approach to work


• ACCA / CPA / CIMA / CFA is desirable


• Strong numerical skills and good problem solver


• Hard working, conscientious, professional and independent


• Strong communication skills – both written and oral


• Confidence to work with senior executives in a cooperative but challenging and independent manner


• A team player with a hands-on approach to work


• Ability to manage ambiguity, uncertainty and to work in a dynamic environment


• Fluent in English.
