For our Export and Trade Finance team as part of the global Treasury organization, keeping abreast of market trends in trade finance and regulations is highly rewarding. It is our license to operate. Moreover, facilitating the financial aspect of international trade transactions gives our work a powerful sense of purpose as we support our businesses to meet their contractual obligations. 
A good knowhow in Trade Finance management is required. This covers not only general knowledge of Customer Finance, Export Credit Agencies, Account Receivable and Supply Chain Financing but also detailed familiarity with various trade finance instruments such as guarantees, letters of credit, collections for export and import.
You will be managing and maintaining the existing SaaS trade finance database, overseeing bank connectivity channels to facilitate seamless communication and bank guarantees transactions execution. Collaborating with the IT teams and our technology vendor to enhance functionality and ensure compliance with data security regulations. Reporting to the Global Head of Export & Trade Finance, you will coordinate trade finance activities across the globe with the support of more than 40 colleagues, to meet business objectives and support our stakeholders.  

Your responsibilities

  • You act as application manager for our SaaS database, managing the maintenance schedule on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis

  • You monitor the service provider performance

  • You ensure the application of corporate standards, corporate regulations to safeguard the overall quality of the business flows

  • Overseeing IT infrastructure (Database, User Access Management tool, Vendor ticketing system, banks channel service & used structured message type)

  • Monitoring latest finance domain technologies and market trends such as API standards. Understanding bank-corporate channel services and structured message types

  • You evaluate and share Vendor performance and competitor analysis

  • You drive efficiency by delivering appropriate knowledge of trade instruments information and training to the stakeholders

Your background

  • A Bachelors degree in Finance

  • More than 7 years of Trade finance experience coupled with strong IT skills

  • Demonstrated experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

  • Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, SAP

  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills
