Maintenance Technician - Duncan, South Carolina The Ionbond - Duncan, SC Coating Center is looking for an experienced and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. If you thrive in an industrial manufacturing environment and enjoy tackling a variety of technical challenges, this is the perfect role for you. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance on production equipment, as well as repairing and rebuilding equipment as needed. Your duties will encompass a wide range of areas, including electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance tasks. This position reports directly to the Plant Manager of our facility. What do we ask?
Must have a minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. Degree/certification in engineering, technical or trade training preferred; Diploma/GED minimum education required. Experience with vacuum technology if preferred. Strong ability with understanding failure mechanisms, ability to isolate, determine root cause, and repair. Working knowledge of control systems, PLC controls. Ability to work independently, is a self-starter, and is highly motivated to complete projects and meet deadlines. Possess good communication skills; able to communicate clearly with co-workers, management, and suppliers, both verbally and in email communications. Available to work overtime and weekends as needed. Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a criminal background check and physical examination.
