RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS 

• Accounting
  • Overall management, booking and monitoring of general accounting, including accounts payable and receivable, fixed asset and inventory accounting 
  • Valuation of AR, Ap and G/L Account in foreign exchange
  • General ledger, account reconciliation and all related tasks
  • Processing payment transactions, reconciliation and accounting of bank accounts
  • Controlling and posting expense reports 
  • Efficient and proper accounting according to OR and close support of the VP Finance in all financial matters of the company
  • Support with liquidity planning and management 
  • Participation in projects and optimization of finance and accounting processes and further development of internal processes and systems
• Reporting
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (including accruals/provisions, asset accounting with depreciation, valuations, variance analyses, notes, etc.)
  • Assist with statistical reporting
•  Budgeting
  • Assist on budget preparation and reforecast exercise 
• Tax
  • Preparation and filing of quarterly VAT and tax returns 
  • Maintain compliance knowledge 
  • Creating, checking, reconciling VAT statements and Intrastat reports
• Payroll
  • Coordination of payroll accounting/control- ensure proper communication with HR and external payroll provider 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

• Accountant (Brevet federal in Finance and accounting) or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role in an SME environment
• Deep and confirmed knowledge of analytical accounting, monthly/annual closing, VAT declarations, SwissGAAP and EU IFRS 
• Solid ERP knowledge (currently Abacus and new ERP setting in 2024 (Netsuite, Opodo,SAP, TBD)
• Advanced Excel knowledge, MS & IT knowledge
• Good user knowledge of ERP systems (finance module), ideally experience with Abacus
• Fluent in German and English, French would be a plus

ABOUT UNISERS 

UNISERS AG is a young start-up from ETH Zurich with revolutionary technology to tackle the biggest challenge in the semiconductor industry: namely, contamination control. Our patented products have been validated to tremendously help the whole semiconductor supply chain (components, materials, wafers, equipment, and chip fabs) with quality control by finding and identifying otherwise undetected or unknown contaminations. Therefore, we will help chip makers reduce the amount of wasted chips (often more than 50%), increasing their profit substantially and at the same time contributing to less waste and CO2 emissions. Having closed a 14 Mio $ seed investment round led by Intel Capital; we are scaling up our team to bring our unique technology to industry as fast as possible. We are located at Baslerpark in downtown Zurich with our own rapid-prototyping workshop, a clean room, laboratories and office space.
