As a Senior Manager Employment Tax, you will be responsible for the handling of various international employment tax tasks for a multitude of Hilti group entities worldwide. Within our Global Tax department, you will use your proven tax expertise to work independently with various other teams at global headquarters, with Hilti group entities globally as well as with external tax advisors. What does the role involve? As a Senior Manager Employment Tax at Hilti, you will independently coordinate and manage various employment tax matters for Hilti group entities in different jurisdictions. You will be responsible for advising and assisting different internal stakeholders at Hilti’s global headquarters and in the local Hilti organizations worldwide in areas such as payroll / payroll tax, social security, mobile workforce, cross-border commuting and other international / cross-border arrangements. Doing so, you will also partner with external advisors. Within Hilti, besides your colleagues from the Global Tax department, you will work particularly close with the Human Resources function at the global, regional and local level. Other important stakeholders are the Business and the Finance communities. You will identify and evaluate compliance risks in all relevant fields of employment tax and independently manage specific projects related to employment tax matters. Moreover, you will monitor new developments in the area of employment tax worldwide and support with the evaluation and implementation of any required changes. Where relevant, you will assist the local Hilti organizations in employment tax audits in close cooperation with the involved Hilti teams and external consultants. - Higher education in tax or finance
- Excellent knowledge and broad practical experience in the area of Employment Tax with a major accounting firm and/or a multinational company
- Proven analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability in stakeholder management
- Fluency in English, excellent command of German is a plus
