Research Assistant / PhD Student in Educational Science

At the University of Zurich, Institute of Education, Chair of Teaching and Educational Technology, we offer a part-time position (60 %) for a research assistant / PhD student, starting on 01.08.2024 or by appointment. The primary responsibility of the chair is to train secondary school teachers in planning and designing effective teaching and learning activities, with a particular focus on integrating digital technologies.

Research Assistant / PhD Student in Educational Science

• Participation in research projects
• Preparation of a doctoral dissertation
• Scientific publications and active participation in conferences
• Teaching duties in upper secondary teacher education
• Organizational activities

• Master's degree in Educational Science, Psychology and/or a teaching diploma
• Willingness to write a doctoral dissertation in the research area of the chair
• Excellent knowledge of empirical research methods and statistics
• Proficiency in German and English
• High motivation, flexibility and reliability; ability to work in a team

We offer an interesting and challenging job in the stimulating environment of a dynamic team. The position is limited to 3 years, with options for extension. The employment conditions correspond to the university guidelines.
