About the Chief Diversity Office

The Chief Diversity Office (CDO) sets strategic direction to bring DE&I efforts to life. The CDO designs and implements DE&I initiatives and serves as the consistent driver of all DE&I efforts. An internship in the Chief Diversity Office offers you the opportunity to apply your communications knowledge, project management skills and obtain insights into the field of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. We are looking for someone with excellent project management skills and an understanding of social dynamics in an ever changing world. During your internship:

  • Your focus will be on the DE&I strategy for Switzerland to advance the global strategic DE&I focus areas Patient, Culture, People & Society

  • You will be contributing to or managing projects enabling the swiss-wide DE&I strategy

  • You will be supporting the coordination and administration of projects, through research, writing, and designing messages and materials

  • You will have the opportunity to work as a member of a global team and work independently

  • You will gather, analyse and review data, identify trends and come up with action plans to drive behaviors in the right direction.

  • You will design and develop presentations, communication materials and websites

Moreover you are

  • Talented coupled with interest for project management & project delivery

  • An ambitious student who is currently enrolled (preferably in the area of Social Sciences, Economics or a related field) or in a gap year between degrees

  • Highly interested in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, passionate about collaboration and communication and happy to work in a dynamic environment

  • A person who works systematically and precisely and brings a high level of initiative as well as a dedicated attitude

  • Someone with excellent communication skills(writing and speaking) and enjoy collaborating with teams and stakeholders from various domains

  • A proactive and transparent team worker

  • A creative contributor who devises communication strategies with digital skills: Familiarity with information technology, especially digital and video means of communication and advanced in working with Google Suite

  • Proficient in English and German, and any other language (both spoken and written)

  • Self-starter, open to new topics, commitment, analytic skills and creativity
