THE OPPORTUNITY

Laboratory Technician, 80-100%

For our Scientific Operations team, we are searching for a motivated personnel to take over the role of Laboratory Technician. The member will be the first point of contact for laboratory related activites including maintenance of the facility and vendors, inventory check, responsibility for the equipment. You will be part of the Laboratory Process Management team and directly reporting to the Lab Manager.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily laboratory process workflows (buffer preparation, aliquoting of reagents, general lab facility maintenance activities)
Assist laboratory activities for defined steps in sample preparation protocols
Maintenance of laboratory equipment (non Mass Spectrometry equipment)
Diligent documentation of performed activities
Providing support to Research Associates

YOUR PROFILE

Education as laboratory technician, preferably analytical direction
Enjoying laboratory work
Good software skills (MS-Office)
Independent, responsible and accurate working style
Open and flexible team player with excellent record keeping and organizational skills
Experience in protein / peptide sample preparation is a plus
Good knowledge of English and German languages (written and spoken)
