Quality Specialist - Your future position?

As a Quality Specialist , you will support the shop floor and Quality Control quality system and improvement programs to drive quality performance, mindset and customer satisfaction at site level. In this role, you will be based in Ayer Keroh , Melaka and reporting to the Assistant Quality Manager.

Sounds interesting? In this exciting role you also will be responsible in:

Fulfill quality assurance responsibilities, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

Support local shop floor quality system and improvement projects.

Assist with quality audits.

Manage document control systems.

Contribute to maintaining Food Safety and Quality related certification.

Participate in Pest Control program.

Engage in Quality Control improvement projects (flows, methods, calibration, etc.).

Handle customer complaints and non-conformance management (Z1, ZV, Z2Q, Z2P, Z3).

Troubleshoot local issues related to their area of expertise.

For Laboratory specialists, coach and mentor QC Technicians on their daily testing and SAP utilization.

Your professional profile includes:

Minimum of 2 years of related work experience within quality assurance field.

Industry background in food related industries are highly preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology or equivalent.

Understanding of Food Safety and Quality Systems such as FSSC, AIB, ISO, etc.

Knowledge of relevant QIC, FC&A, and ops processes, Customer Quality requirements, Specification and Formula management, Audit and more.

Familiarity with manufacturing technologies and product characteristics such as liquids, spray drying, powder blending, etc.

Proficient in main IT systems including Atlas, Athena, FPR, SAP, etc.

Proficiency in project & stakeholder management.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
