WinGD is looking for a

Strategic Purchaser, Operations Korea

Responsibilities:

• Support and implement purchasing strategies following WinGD’s strategy, focusing on cost efficiency, quality and sustainability.
• Support rolling forecasting, regularly check and update lead time for most important components/spare parts suppliers
• Handling of inquiries & orders (internal and external customers) for direct purchasing predominantly at Korean suppliers & other suppliers on demand
• Ensure timely delivery of the needed components.
• Link between external and internal stakeholders, ensuring Quality and efficiency.
• Be responsible for the control, statistics and analysis of procurement cost.
• Be responsible for the negotiation and approval of parts price and signing annual supply agreement.
• Well communicate with suppliers, actively support the supply chain team during the procurement process, included but not limited to the resources, prices, delivery, quality, etc .
• Good assisting Line manager for
• Develop opportunities with cost saving through supply chain as from sourcing to sales.
• Active supplier sourcing and qualification on a commercial level
• Keep the strong team work
• Monthly reporting to LM

Requirements:

• University / BSc (industrial or commercial)
• A solution oriented mind set, and taking ownership/responsibility on your actions
• Understanding of technical drawings
• Being well familiar with 2stroke engines or working experience in HHI and Hanhwa,etc is preferred
• Business minded and result oriented attitude
• Matured personality
• Positive attitude for communication and team work
• Ability to work under pressure
• Cost conscious
• Suppliers’ sourcing skills
• Well negotiation skills
• Supply chain management knowledge
• Project management knowledge
• Microsoft Office knowhow, Excel etc.
• Preferably experience in working with databases
• Good negotiation skills
• Open, communicative personality with a high degree of inclusiveness
• Pro-active and self-driven way of working
• Excellent Korean and English language knowledge, written and spoken is mandatory
