Contribution of polymers originating from chemical recycling will be significant. RFC Business Unit (Renewable Fuel & Chemicals), in charge of operational deployment, requires R&D support to achieve this challenging goal. Among chemical recycling technologies from plastic waste to polymer, some like pyrolysis have a high level of maturity but most are emerging technologies. In order to massively implement, in line with ambitions, several technologies should be implemented and optimize yields, costs and carbon footprints. It is essential to investigate, assess & improve many technologies.

The role of VIE person will be to contribute to improvement of proven technologies and help to identify & evaluate emerging technologies of chemical recycling. This R&D based mission will be multitasks: numerical, pilot runs, anayltical studies, Intellectual Property, technology watch...
