Your Responsibilities:

Deliver proactive supervision based on cloud-based digital remote monitoring tools and predictive analytics software that optimize availability of customer’s connected assets

Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions via remote communication channels. Provide remote technical assistance to field technicians and customers via preventive maintenance

Interpret remote monitoring data to generate reports, highlighting equipment health, trends, and maintenance recommendations

Coordinate remote and on-site activities to optimize maintenance schedules and resources. Collect feedback from on-site visits to check accuracy of prediction

Jointly work with data analysts to interpret data patterns and understand the underlying causes in the installations of the customer. Contribute to the enhancement of remote monitoring tools

Develop content structure for recommendation data base that makes best in class troubleshooting procedures available

Liaise with other teams within the organization, including sales and engineering, to exchange knowledge and ensure client requirements are met

Conduct training sessions for clients and internal teams on the proper use of digital tools for proactive maintenance

Profile and Qualifications:

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, computer science or in a related field

4+ years working experience in technical support, preventive maintenance, or a similar role; preferably involving industrial equipment.

Experience as a service engineer remotely servicing industrial customers for digital products in technical support or a related field

Industry Experience in process industries (e.g. food production) or in machine or plant engineering

Good analytical skills and familiarity with remote monitoring tools, predictive analytics, and IoT technologies

Self-starter and high motivation to implement new digital services

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for remote engagement with field teams and customers

Solid German and English skills

Detail-oriented with the ability to document technical support requests and solutions in a knowledge base

Knowledge of software development lifecycle and software development tools
