For our client, an international company with an excellent reputation in Zürich, we are currently looking for a driven and hands-on International Mobility Specialist 100% who is able to start on short notice on a 6-9 months temporary contract with high possibility of extension.

Description

  • Supporting the information flow between payroll & mobility (relocation benefits, work permits, insurance confirmations, confirmations of employment)
  • Interacting with our global vendors to advise on immigration regulations and appropriate permit set ups, as well as providing tax and social security overviews to the business
  • Managing Certificates of Coverage applications to ensure social security taxes are properly withheld in correct countries for international employees additionally coordinate with regional and global teams for all International Social Security coverages
  • Work closely with our immigration professionals to ensure holistic compliance from a mobility perspective
  • Supporting as a central point of contact for mobile individuals at each stage of the process, ensuring meaningful communication and equitable treatment for our mobile population
  • Cooperating with HR Business Partners, Business Leaders, Payroll, Legal and other internal stakeholders
  • Helping support regulatory compliance of firm-wide international business travel
  • Taking charge of ad-hoc operational projects and aligning mobility with company initiatives
  • Owning projects from A-Z, having the entrepreneurship to identify opportunities where we can challenge processes and do things differently

Profile

  • Successfully completed bachelors degree or equivalent
  • 2 years or more of global mobility experience within an international company
  • Knowledge and experience in ensuring immigration compliance and managing an end to end process
  • Core understanding of cross-border tax considerations, including tax residency concepts and impacts, tax equalisation for assignments, complexities around different types of compensation e.g. stock options, relocation benefits, etc.
  • Fluency in English, both written and oral, German or any other language is an advantage
  • Proficient user of MS-Office
  • Dynamic and multitasking talent with an organised working style
  • High communication skills and hands-on personality
  • Team player who enjoys to collaborate with a variety of departments and enjoys to bring innovative ideas
