Mandarin Oriental, Geneva is opening a new, fine-dining restaurant and for this high-end Japanese lifestyle concept, we are recruiting for the kitchen:

Chef(fe)s de Partie, ½ Chef(fe)s de Partie & Commis

Main Responsibilities:

Professional and personal customer care and advice for our guests

Professional preparation and serving of drinks according to the highest standards

Ensuring smooth and guest-oriented work processes

Complying with and ensuring quality standards

Providing the necessary mise en place and carrying out daily inventories

Assisting in the preparation for events

Booking all transactions in the cash register system and carrying out correct cash accounting

Complying with safety regulations

Complying with hygiene regulations and cleanliness within the framework of the HACCP guidelines

Job Requirements:

2-3 years' relevant experience

A completed vocational training in the upscale hotel industry or gastronomy.

High level of expertise in beverage knowledge, especially about cocktails

Communicative skills - guests will contact you with complaints as well as positive feedback

High level of commitment as well as a structured, results-oriented and independent way of working

Engaging communication and expression skills, open-mindedness as well as teamwork skills

Flexibility and resilience - your position includes weekend and holiday shifts

Fluent in French & English mandatory

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for service, food, lots of flair and creativity

Must be of smart appearance with excellent personal hygiene standards

Please note this is a full-time permanent position
