Das legendäre Hotel Palace Luzern wurde erstmals im Jahr 1906 eröffnet und befindet sich in Luzern am Ufer des Vierwaldstättersees. Nach einer kompletten Renovierung eröffnete das Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern im September 2022 seine Türen für Kollegen und Gäste. Das Hotel verfügt über 136 Zimmer und Suiten mit herrlichem Blick auf den Vierwaldstättersee und die Berge. Drei Restaurants, eine Bar mit wunderschöner Terrasse, der Meeting- und Eventbereich, der Spa sowie ein Fitnessraum runden das vielfältige Angebot für unsere Gäste ab.

Als Safety & Security Officer werden Sie verantwortlich für folgende

Aufgaben sein:

Gewährleistung der Einhaltung der Sicherheitsrichtlinien aller lokalen und staatlichen Vorschriften

Gewährleistung einer sicheren Umgebung für alle Gäste und Kollegen

Mitglied des Notfallteams

Unterstützung bei der Umsetzung der Standard Operating Procedures in allen Abteilungen im Zusammenhang mit Brandschutz, Gesundheit und Sicherheit

Überprüfung und Erstellung der Vorfall-, Verlust- und Unfallberichte

Verantwortung für die Umsetzung der Brandschutzrichtlinien

Sie beherrschen den Umgang des hauseigenen Schlüsselsystems

Verantwortung für den Schutz des Hoteleigentums

Durchführung von Patrouillen auf dem Gelände

Kontrolle der Sicherheitsausrüstung

Unverzügliche Meldung von Hotelmängeln an die zuständigen Abteilungen

Als Safety & Security Officer

suchen wir nach :

Fundierte Erfahrung im Sicherheitssektor, vorzugsweise in der Hotelbranche

Gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten und angenehme Persönlichkeit

Starke Fähigkeiten zur Problemlösung mit der Fähigkeit, unabhängig und unter Druck zu arbeiten

CPR/Erste-Hilfe-zertifiziert von Vorteil

Gute Computerkenntnisse

Fliessende Englisch- und Deutschkenntnisse

Führungsqualitäten, Organisationstalent und die Fähigkeit, ein Team von Mitarbeitern aus verschiedenen Kulturen mit Feingefühl und Disziplin zu führen

Bewältigung von schwierigen Situationen ohne Antagonismus oder Feindseligkeit

elastbarkeit und Flexibilität - Ihre Position beinhaltet Wochenend-, Nacht- und Feiertagsschichten

We are looking for a Safety & Security Officer to join our iconic Mandarin Oriental Palace, Lucerne.

The legendary Hotel Palace Luzern first opened in 1906 and is in the city on the shores of Lake Lucerne. After a complete renovation, the Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern reopened its doors in September 2022. It comprises 136 rooms and suites offering excellent views over the lake and mountains. Three restaurants, one bar together with a variety of meeting facilities, a Spa and a fitness room roundup our offer for our Guests.

As Safety & Security Officer you will be

responsible for the following tasks:

Ensure safety compliance with all local and federal regulations

Ensuring a safe environment for all guests and colleagues

Member of the emergency response team

Assist in the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures in all departments related to Fire Life Health Safety and Security

Review and prepare incident, loss and accident reports

Responsibility for the implementation of fire safety guidelines

You are proficient in handling the hotel's own key system

Responsibility for the safeguarding of hotel property

Conduct patrols of the property

Conduct security equipment inspection

Immediately report hotel deficiencies to appropriate departments

As Safety & Security Officer we are looking for

Profound working experience in the security sector, preferably in the hospitality sector

Good communication skills and pleasant personality

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and under pressure

CPR/First aid certified is an advantage

Good computer skills

Fluent in English and German

Leadership, organizational skills and the ability to lead a team of employees from different cultures with sensitivity and discipline

Handle situations without raising antagonism or hostility

Resilience and flexibility - your position includes weekend, night and holiday shifts
