Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description

Join our team in Basel in shaping the future of automation in chemical manufacturing, where your expertise as a Automation Project Manager will drive innovation and excellence. If you're ready to take on this exciting challenge, we eagerly await your application !

🔥Reponsibilities :

• Lead and coordinate automation projects, encompassing control systems, cybersecurity systems, and alarm management systems.
• Oversee the automation infrastructure, including hardware (control cabinets, wiring) as well as software and hardware (Delta V).
• Execute projects and collaborate with external partners to achieve objectives while managing project budgets and governance as required.

🎯 Your Profile :

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in automation within an industrial setting, particularly in chemical production environments.
• Strong technical acumen with a deep understanding of automation systems and their application in chemical manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Delta V software, including both software and hardware components of automation systems. Knowledge of Como software is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information to management and stakeholders effectively.
• Fluent in English, with conversational German skills to facilitate communication within the team.
