For our head office in Zurich we are looking for a

Senior C++ Software Engineer

YOUR CONTRIBUTION

You have a solid knowledge of C++17 (or newer), which you will use in the further development and maintenance of our server software. You will also familiarize yourself with complex customer requirements in the financial sector and design effective solutions for which you will take shared responsibility. We are a development team consisting of eight passionate engineers of all ages, partly in Romania, partly in Switzerland.
 
These main activities await you:

• Helping to shape the future of our products


• Collaborating in the functional specifications of new features


• Expand your knowledge in the fund and asset management industry


• Analyzing, specifying, implementing, maintaining and developing tests


• Advising the departments on practicability and propose solutions


• Close collaboration with other teams, such as development, business analysis and consultants


• Conducting code and design reviews

YOUR EXPERTISE

• Knowledge in Finance (preferably in the area of Order Management & Settlement)


• Certifications in finance, such as CFA, CIMA, or equivalent, are a plus


• Higher education in computer science (e.g., university degree) or equivalent experience in software development.


• Ability to work independently and willingness to participate in decision-making processes in a flat hierarchical working environment 


• Passion for developing high-quality codes and automated tests


• Knowledge of Linux, git, CMake, Boost and container technologies is an advantage


• Team player with an agile mindset


• Very good written and spoken English skills
