R&D Electrical Development Engineer

You are responsible for self-reliant and reliable working on automation tasks/projects from the conception phase until market introduction You create control units, cabling layouts and wiring diagrams according to specifications, design and standards You take over the consideration of software and mechanical constraints and work in close partnership with the project team You select automation components (drive, motor, sensor, etc.) You test new developments in the factory or directly at customer site You define and execute continuous improvements in coordination with product and project management
Degree (Bachelor/ Master) in Automation / Electrical Engineering / Mechatronik / Systemtechnik or similar Professional experience in Electrical Design in R&D Sound knowledge in designing and developing of industrial machine control hardware with Safety and requirements on certificate like EMC, IEC, CE, UL,(desirable IEC-Ex, ATEX, Clas II Div 2) Sound knowledge of electrical CAD systems, (Eplan, Ebase, Ruplan, Comos) Comfortable working on multiple projects at one time as well as able to plan and organize work to meet project dates and objectives Analytical and structured way of working as well as strong problem-solving skills and describe them in a comprehensible way Project responsibility in the dual role of Electrical Engineer & subproject Manager Good communication skills in German and English Willingness to travel of approx. 10%
