Your mission:

You lead and develop the procurement team within operations, taking charge of procurement & purchasing for the production of our products.

You strive for operational excellence and collaboration, building and executing a strategy as part of the company’s operations and R&D strategy.

You guarantee the timely, cost-effective, and high-quality availability of raw and packaging materials, working towards a more sustainable, localized, and cost-efficient supply chain.

You are responsible for keeping your part of the house clean with clean master data, adherence to quality-related processes, optimal stock levels and with a focus on minimizing waste.

You manage, monitor, and develop supplier relationships, driving market intelligence, supplier selection, and contract negotiation in collaboration with R&D and other operation teams.

You negotiate contracts and prices, identifying and executing cost reduction initiatives.

You develop a comprehensive understanding of relevant markets, technologies, and supply chains both within Europe and globally.

You initiate, develop, optimize, and implement efficient workflows and processes, with a focus on procure-to-pay.

You represent procurement in cross-functional projects, actively contributing to new product developments.

You:

Hold a degree in Business Administration and/or Supply Chain/Operations Management and possess a minimum of 5 years or more of experience in Procurement & Purchasing, ideally within the Food and Beverage and/or packaging material industry.

Demonstrate a track record of success in operational purchasing, particularly within the dynamic environment of small businesses.

Showcase leadership experience, effectively inspiring and guiding colleagues, while exhibiting high levels of reliability, diligence, and a strong sense of ownership.

Exhibit exceptional negotiation and communication skills, adept at navigating complex business environments.

Ability to prioritize & excitement to deal with operational challenges

Display a numbers-driven, analytical approach with a strong ability to develop and enhance processes.

Possess proficiency in MS Office and hands-on experience with ERP systems.

Are fluent in English, any additional language is a plus.

Show a high level of motivation to thrive in a start-up/scale-up environment, coupled with a passion for transitioning the company from start-up to scale-up.

Have a valid work permit for Switzerland.
