Head of Global Marketing and Rankings Executive School (m/w/d)

The Executive School of Management, Technology and Law (ES HSG) is the University of St. Gallen's (HSG) primary point of contact for continuing education. In addition to offering external education programmes, the ES HSG assumes a coordinating function.
The ES HSG also offers a diverse portfolio of degree programmes, including various MBAs and Executive MBAs, as well as continuing education in the areas of Law & Management and Open Programmes. The ES HSG also includes the Henri B. Meier School and company-specific education programmes for national and international clients



Head of Global Marketing and Rankings Executive School (m/w/d)

Your tasks

  • In line with the vision and strategy of the Executive School HSG, the person will develop and oversee the implementation and internal dissemination of the Executive School's global marketing strategy. This aims to increase international awareness of the HSG brand and its executive education (ExecEd) programmes
  • Definition and monitoring of the HSG global ranking strategy, in close alignment with the HSG and ES HSG vision. This will include closely monitoring ranking performance, ensuring ranking literacy across all business units and institutes and provision of advice and support to relevant Programmes aimed at improving ranking competitiveness
  • Support of business units and institutes with market research data and competitive benchmarking information
  • Networking and representation towards internal and external stakeholders
  • Project management in Marketing and Recruiting
  • Oversees compliance with HSG branding guidelines, and the coordination of branding efforts among all programmes, within the ExecEd portfolio of the HSG
  • Close collaboration with the other functions (Finance, HR and Strategy)

 

Your profile

  • Demonstrated proficiency in marketing, branding and communications, with a proven track-record in understanding and addressing client needs and market dynamics
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project execution and stakeholder management within an academic or business environment
  • Solid experience in marketing ExecEd programmes
  • Solid experience in managing the rankings of top programmes, ideally within the graduate management education industry
  • Excellent networking skills, with established connections in the ExecEd and corporate industry and the ability to engage experts and institutions in marketing endeavors
  • International experience in the ExecEd industry
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and German
  • Background in marketing, branding, etc. is advantageous
  • Team-oriented working style with talent for both strategic and operational tasks
