We're searching for a talented Etch Process Technician to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in ensuring the production of high-quality products at our state-of-the-art facility in Lenzburg, Switzerland. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with engineers to optimize production lines, troubleshoot challenges, and continuously improve our processes.
Your Responsibilities
Collaborates with the Etch Process Engineering Team to ensure high-quality production through process checks, resolution of issues, and continuous improvement efforts
Optimizes production line stability and Cp/Cpk performance, while troubleshooting and resolving typical semiconductor processing challenges
Contributes to on-time delivery of top-quality products by supporting daily production activities, equipment readiness checks, and quality control procedures
Provides comprehensive support across various aspects, including disposition of on-hold lots, responding to SPC failures, and facilitating process development initiatives for future technologies
Upholds a safe and efficient work environment by adhering to Hitachi HSE regulations, cleanroom practices, and effective communication protocols
Collaborates with Process Area Engineers to enhance product stability, yield, and reliability, and identifies root causes of process and quality deviations
Contributes to process improvement initiatives by analyzing and optimizing production operations for optimal line flow
Supports 24/7 production on call occasionally on weekends, ensuring smooth functioning and efficient problem-solving
Your Background
Minimum 2 years of experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment, preferably in etch process operations and equipment within a cleanroom environment
Strong understanding of semiconductor process control principles (SPC, Cp/Cpk)
Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Adherence to safety regulations and procedures (e.g., Hitachi HSE standards)
Experience with cleanroom protocols and practices
Experience working in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
Knowledge of defect analysis and root cause identification methods
