As a Solution Engineer you have the overview of the H+S Railway portfolio and provide technical support for business development. In this varied role your key responsibilities are the following:
Drives customer projects together with field application engineers and product managers in territories all over the world.
In-depth portfolio understanding and responsible for strategic projects in areas of innovation, 3rd party product integration and portfolio development.
Defines system topologies (LF, RF, FO) and requirements for product development projects in accordance with Sales and Technology.
Initiator for mid and long term innovation ideas to close portfolio gaps
Analyze and monitor market and technology trends in order to define profitable business opportunities
Monitor and review external requirements e.g. changing regulations, changes in the market
Your profile
We are looking for a customer oriented and high motivated ?driver" who takes ownership! You have good communication skills in and experience with working in international, intercultural and cross-functional teams.
Higher education (e.g. Master degree) in electrical or mechanical engineering
Sound Project Management Skills and practical experience with mechanics / electronics.
Hands-on experience with devising and constructing lab demonstrators and field prototypes
Substantial application knowledge and experience with RF technology
Proven ability to think and act both at a broadly conceptual and at a finely granular technical level
Solution oriented, well organized, self-sufficient and resilient
Good German and English language skills (written and spoken)
Ability to travel as needed (up to 30% within Europe)
