YOUR CHALLENGE

• Managerial role requiring great business and technical skills to manage an experienced team of 10+ specialists within the Data & Analytics Sector
• Closely collaborate with Stakeholders and Consumers across the divisions of the bank
• Ensure smooth delivery of business value for data consuming and/or data report requesting stakeholders
• Promote the data-informed decision making throughout the company by partnering with different teams to set higher analytical standards
• Responsible for reliable request management and delivery of cross-functional projects as determined by business priorities

YOUR PROFILE

• Expert knowledge of data science and reporting tools on the market (predominantly Tableau, PowerBI, Dataiku)
• Strong knowledge of data systems (from classical DWH like Oracle/Informatica/SAP to data lakes on prem/in cloud)
• Working knowledge of scripting languages like Python, great understanding of visualization layer (Qlik, Tableau, Power BI), proficient in SQL
• Knowledge of Agile Project Management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFe)
• Knowledge of Banking data products, or financial sector in general, dealing with sensitive data
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to decompose complex solutions and insights into a simple narrative for the rest of the company
• Support team members skills development
• Responsible for budget execution and forecast in own functional area
• Additional role as SME in day to day operations
• 3-5 years leading a technical team
• Working knowledge of German is beneficiary, excellent command of English
• Higher education (e.g.  University, “Fachhochschule”) in computer science. Data science specialization is beneficiary
• Banking background a strong plus
