Associate and Senior Associate in Life Sciences R&D Management Consulting

Your Impact

  • You will, together with the team, deliver high-impact projects engaging with senior stakeholders from high-profile clients across the Life Sciences industry.
  • You will deliver new ideas, propositions and projects with a focus on Clinical Development but with exposure to other areas of the R&D value chain.
  • The projects typically include the design and implementation of new technologies, operating models, digital strategies and ways of working relevant to Clinical Development. This also includes driving business performance through changing culture / mind-sets, improving processes and procedures, benefitting from process automation and enabling insights from advanced analytics and AI. The outcomes we help clients to drive faster clinical development timelines, exploiting internal and external data through advanced analytics and machine learning, improving quality and compliance amongst many others.
  • The role will work closely with our consulting teams covering commercial, market access and other functions across the Life Sciences value chain.
  • You will work with international clients and we will provide you the opportunity to gain experience working in multi-cultural teams within Switzerland and abroad.
  • You will be collaborating with PwC's global network of life sciences R&D and Technology experts, you will access to our market leading propositions, methodologies, assets and training materials.

Your Skill Set

  • You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a science-related discipline plus initial experience working in Clinical Development, either as a consultant or within R&D at a pharmaceutical, CRO or life sciences company.
  • You have had exposure to some of the following areas: clinical operations, digital strategy development, operating model design, process improvement, technology implementation and digital & analytics technologies in an R&D environment.
  • You pay attention to detail, have strong problem-solving skills and are technologically proficient.
  • You have excellent teamworking, interpersonal, listening and communication skills.
  • You are fluent in English and any other language would be a benefit.
  • You are a passionate team player during worktime and enjoy socializing with clients and colleagues after work.
