About the role

EPAM is searching for a dynamic Head of Cloud Security to lead in Zurich and enhance our strategic cloud security operations. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to assume the helm of our Cloud Security department, driving strategy, overseeing threat management and ensuring robust security protocols for our cloud-based resources. As Head of Cloud Security, you will play a fundamental part in guaranteeing the safe and secure deployment of our cutting-edge cloud solutions. This pivotal leadership role will oversee the design and implementation of our cloud security strategy, ensure compliance with regulatory standards and lead a team of cloud security experts. You'll harness your extensive experience to secure our cloud-based assets across multiple platforms and services.

Responsibilities

• Define or drive maturity of Information Security Management Systems and Security Roadmaps for large enterprises
• Consult VP and C-level stakeholders on security solutions and enterprise security programs and manage those relationships
• Define Security Programs in some of the following domains:
• Cloud Security
• Application Security
• Identity & Access Management (and related)
• Threat & Vulnerability Management
• MDM/MAM
• Data protection
• Security Operations Center
• Security Testing
• Conduct Security assessments for enterprises and cloud/hybrid workloads
• Conduct orchestrate discovery process together with Security Architects
• Lead sales process, prepare RFP/RFI responses
• Manage a team of security consultants and architects
• Consult client leads from engineering, infrastructure, development, database, security teams on security topics

Requirements

• Extensive security experience
• Broad background in any of the following: infrastructure and systems architecture, solution architecture, cloud and application development
• Extensive abilities for dealing with security architecture issues in multi-cloud systems, hybrid infrastructures, containers, microservices and modern stacks
• Consulting experience in Cloud Security (either Azure, AWS or GCP) and in several security domains below:
• Application Security
• Identity & Access Management (and related)
• Threat & Vulnerability Management
• MDM/MAM
• Data protection
• Security Operations Center
• Security Testing
• Good understanding of industry standards (NIST SP 800-53/ISO 27001/PCI DSS; HIPAA, HITRUST, GDPR, etc.) from compliance and technical perspective
• Experience successfully implementing any Enterprise Security programs
• Experience successfully delivering security service-oriented projects
• Experience with security assessments
• Proficient communication skill in English is mandatory, German language skill is a significant advantage
