Your team


Pictet Asset Services provides custody, fund services and trading solutions for external asset managers, fund managers and institutional clients. We manage every aspect of the asset servicing value chain, and our range of bespoke solutions include value-adding analytics, trading strategy support and digital front-end interfaces designed to provide an unrivalled customer experience.


As a Client Relationship Officer in our Zurich office, you will be working in the German Speaking Switzerland Team, and you will be the point of entry for all day-to-day operational requests from our clients. You will work closely with our Business Developers (BD) and Client Relationship Mangers (CRM).
You will bring your communication skills, your ability to work independently and your excellent interpersonal skills to a service-oriented team that will appreciate your motivation, high quality standards and networked thinking. Your organisational skills and thoughtful approach to your work will enable you to maintain an overview even in hectic situations. You will use your sense of responsibility, pleasant manner and outstanding client focus to support the institutional team and our clients. 


Your role


Your responsibilities include the following:


 


•    Being the dedicated contact for our clients regarding operational matters, setups, and working in close cooperation with the CRM in charge of the relationship.
•    Attending and active participation in client meetings.
•    Drafting correspondence to institutional clients.
•    Providing high quality day-to-day operational support to our clients.
•    Setting up operational relationships when accounts are opened prior to a fund’s launching or onboarding of a new Global Custody client, while working with business Implementation teams in Switzerland and in Luxembourg.
•    Ensuring all operational queries are promptly resolved, monitored, and issues are fixed and solutions are found
•    Managing day-to-day operations such as payments, cash sweeping, cash management and FX instructions.
•    Setting up access to Pictet’s online banking solution Pictet Connect with validated end-user accounts after completion of due diligence, etc.
•    Providing support in opening segregated accounts with the related controls and specifics for end-beneficiary markets.
•    Working closely with all the Group’s operational teams and functional divisions.
•    Presenting Pictet online or face-to-face with our client.
•    Ensure that operational documents are in place and properly applied.


Your profile



•    Excellent knowledge of asset servicing industry (custodian bank/investment funds), operational flows as well as experience of client-facing activity (at least five years in a similar role).
•    In-depth knowledge of the legal and regulatory provisions applicable to the fund industry.
•    Native level in German with English; French is a clear advantage.
•    Proven client-service experience with the ability to build strong relationships through technical know-how as well as a capacity to deliver solutions.
•    A service-oriented approach coupled with an ability to manage sensitive situations that may require both a sense of diplomacy and technical expertise.
•    Ability to build strong internal networks with international teams.
•    Keen sense of initiative and independence and able to take decisions to ensure that issues are resolved promptly.
•    Solid compliance knowledge and risk-management awareness.
