For our locations in Basel/Bern/Geneva/Lausanne/Zurich we are looking for a Cloud Product Analyst.

In this role you will report to the ELCA Cloud Services Product Manager. You will be part of the team developing Cloud products and defining the standards and best practices for our services on Public and Private Clouds. You will keep an eye on the market, represent the customer’s view, consider business aspects and collaborate with partners, marketing and sales, as well as provide documentation, make sure blueprints and processes can be realized, assist with the technical and administrative implementation and help engineers and operators to follow our standards in their projects.

You have expertise in Cloud and/or on-premises infrastructures, automation, and architecture, enabling you to deliver solid Public and/or Private Cloud knowledge. You also like to think analytically, explore innovative technologies and apply your business knowhow, to develop or evolve products that help customers meet their needs, are attractive on the market as well as provide sufficiently profitability.

In this team you will help to perform:

— Technology watch, market research and competition analysis.

— Analysis of current internal and customer infrastructures and processes.

— Evaluation of third-party products and services.

— Designs, blueprints, automation and documentation of architectures, procedures and solutions in collaboration with engineering, delivery and operation teams.

— Contributions to the fulfillment of partnership requirements.

— Definition and continuous evolvement of standards for Public and Private Cloud.

— Guidelines for Cloud setup, migration, delivery, operations and managed services.

— Support of sales and presales and contributions to marketing campaigns.

— Presentation and implementation in customer and internal projects and services.

— Audit and adjustment of environments to follow set standards.

— Evaluation of product profitability and success.

— Review and continuous improvement of ELCA Cloud Services products.

You have a particular flavor for Cloud and are proud of Cloud products, projects and services that are well-defined, loved by customers, running smoothly, competitive in the market and profitable for ELCA. You believe that infrastructures and applications only make sense if they work at any time and know that integrating development and operation is full of technical and organizational challenges.

You have studied Business Informatics or a related field on Bachelor or Master level and have already obtained experience in the IT services business in companies or organizations providing or using IT services.

You have conceptual knowledge in some or all of the following:

— Public Clouds (strong knowledge in least one of AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP and/or OCI).

— Container platforms (e.g., Docker, OpenShift, OKD and/or Kubernetes).

— Operating systems (Windows and/or Unix/Linux).

— Cloud networks and security (virtual networks, firewalls, VPN, VPC, peering, etc.)

— Databases / DB as a Service (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Oracle, SQL Server and/or NoSQL).

— Software-defined infrastructure / infrastructure-as-code, automation and configuration and deployment management tools (e.g., Puppet, Ansible and/or Terraform).

— DevOps and CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, SonarQube and/or GitLab).

— Workplace (Microsoft Teams, M365, office IT, meeting rooms, etc.).

— Business aspects (product management, value propositions, finances, business cases and modelling, pricing, profitability, legal, FinOps, etc.).

— Communication (internal and external, written and spoken, e.g., marketing, sales, presales, presentations, training, articles, documentation, etc.)Agile and other methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, project management and/or ITIL).

— Innovation, process definitions, standardization, industrialization and/or quality assurance (as a plus).

Languages (good command of written and spoken English and either German or French).
